Web Interface Designer

This is a full-time position, located in Jakarta.
Starting immediately.
We offer a 3 months probation time, and then an upgrade to permanent or one year contract.

Job description:
+ Designing user interface of various Rich Internet Applications.
+Translating designs into valid xhtml and css documents.
+ Ensuring quality and usability of the user interface.
+ Proactively suggest strategic improvement in our quality of work.
+ Proactively recommend architecture and product/service improvement and suggest new development
practices.
+ Stay up-to-date with latest trends in Internet and web development.
Requirement:
+ Min 4 years experience in web interface development.
+ Strong technical ability in xhtml and css.
+Excellent skill in (vector) graphic manipulation using i.e. adobe illustrator, freehand, photoshop
+ Previous templating experience with Open Source CMS such as Joomla! and Drupal is highly desired.
+ Knowledge in Web usability and cross-browser compatibility.
+ Familiarity with web 2.0 principal and best practices.
+ Exposure with Ajax will be an advantage.
Soft skills:
+ Enterpreneurial, innovative.
+ Converse comfortably english. Daily verbal english encounter will be required.
+ Passion in leading edge web technologies.
+ Comfortable working under pressure.
+ Work very well independently, although occasional team work would also be necessary.
Basic and secondary benefits:
+ 400 - 700 Euro per month basis salary depending on experience and portfolio, on a basis of 40 hours
per week working hours.
