Drilling Rig Supervisor
Vacancy for: 4 People

General Summary

Undertakes all responsibility of drilling and workover operations representing KJO and  working onboard drilling rig on a 24 hours a day and 2 weeks rotation basis. Directs and supervises drilling service contractors. Frequently communicates with onshore base and regularly reports operational progress and status. Controls drilling materials, supplies and service contractors' arrangement.

1.     Directs and controls drilling and workover operations, rig move, service M/V activities and emergency responses on board drilling rig on a 24 hours a day basis. Frequently communicates with onshore base. Instructs and supervises drilling services provided by contractors. Inspects and checks drilling rig, equipment, material stock, and work performance of onboard crew, and instructs service contractors repair and maintenance activities on the rig.  

2.     Reviews and checks drilling and workover programmes. Ensures procurement of services and material supplies in accordance with approved operation programmes. Provides drilling service contractor with detailed operational procedures and requirements at every step of drilling and workover operations. Requests and instructs to onshore base for logistic supporting activities. Ensures that all activities are carried out in accordance with the Company's safety policies and procedures.

3.     Prepares and delivers daily drilling and workover operation report including various drilling parameters, material supply and consumption, costs, and other associated information.

4.     Ensures that Contractor maintains the rig and their equipment at maximum efficiency minimizing down-time and the KJO's materials and equipment are properly utilized, handled and stored.

PHYSICAL EFFORT & WORK ENVIRONMENT
Works at drilling rig on 24-hours a day, 7-days a week and 4 weeks rotation basis. Spends 50% of time walking and standing.

General Summary

Prepares reports related to material supply and services procurement.

3.     Assists supervisor in preparation of activity plan and budgets controls for his Group. Assists supervisor in reviewing supply tenders/contracts under Materials Department's control. Maintains close communication with Material Department and material supply contractors. Evaluates service contractors' performance.

PHYSICAL EFFORT & WORK ENVIRONMENT
Normally air conditioned environment, but occasionally operational environment.

Position Responsibilities - Summary

Individuals who will lead the system to design and analysis
development projects in the End-Of-Day Pricing Applications in Investment
Team system data. In this role the individual will work with project
managers, analysts and business leaders to determine the technical programmer

Key Responsibilities;

Partnership with the Investment Data and Derivatives Business Services
Investment Administration team within the Group to proactively identify

term scalable solution.
Taking a hands-on approach to the functional and technical architecture
designed to provide business solutions.
Working with Data Rates consumer groups to understand their
requirements and help develop innovative solutions to handle data
needs.
Provide input into the system design team to help program
set a schedule and implementation efforts for the development of the application.
Ensure the quality of the product with the upholding of high standards in testing
building to measure and control the entire time and accuracy data
delivery.
Develop a strong partnership with the team to ensure delivery on
time, scalable business solutions and quality.
Managing the overall budget and assist the team in planning and
budget estimates from the various efforts.
Provide leadership on the team assigned to projects that may include both
full-time staff and consulting organization in the matrix.
Key to this position:
1. This is a Senior role which is a combination of Functional and Technical
with emphasis on functional.
2. The Domain (functional) requirements: This candidate must have a strong
Investment Management background with exposure to the Back Office and Central
Operations office. This individual will be responsible for the Reference Data
Application that includes Price, Security Master, and Analytics
Derivative operation. Any experience in these areas is very strong plus.
3. Technical: Applications written in Java (J2EE), PL / SQL and Data
Stage. Experience as an Analyst to work with applications built with this
technology a major plus.
4. The candidate must Excellent Communication and Client Relations
skills. Individuals will be interfacing directly with the business
(Investment Data and Derivatives Operations System).
Skills and competencies required:
Strong understanding of Investment Management and Investment Data
industry, with special expertise in the domain and price analysis
Minimum 10 years experience as a systems analyst
Minimum 5 years experience in Data Management
Minimum of 5 years Project Management experience required.
Experience working with data providers such as Reuters, and IDC.
CFA certification is a plus.
